On Saturday, July 09, 2022, at approximately 1135 hours, police responded to a 911 call of an aided male inside of 120 Casals Place, within the confines of the 45th Precinct in the Bronx.
Upon arrival, officers observed a 54-year-old male with a stab wound to the chest.
EMS responded and transported the aided male to NYC Health + Hospitals / Jacobi, where he was pronounced deceased.
A preliminary investigation determined that a known male stabbed the victim with a knife following a dispute inside of the location.
The person of interest fled the location and is being sought in regards to this incident.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as indicated.

There have been no arrests made and the investigation remains ongoing.
