It was reported to police that on Sunday, May 16, 2021, at 1530 hours, inside of the track and field area of Macombs Dam Park, in the vicinity of 1 Ruppert Place, within the confines of the 44th Precinct in the Bronx, an unidentified male was riding a red and white dirt bike at a high rate of speed, when he collided with the victim, a 5-year-old male, who was at the park with his 29-year-old mother and a 2-year-old brother.
A dispute ensued between the unidentified male and park-goers and the unidentified male fled on foot. The dirt bike was retrieved by another male, who claimed ownership.
EMS transported to New York-Presbyterian in stable condition. He was treated for bleeding to his nose and mouth.
On Thursday, June 03, 2021, at 1700 hours, regarding the above-listed incident, the unidentified individual did turn himself into the custody of police at the 44 Precinct.
The 29-year-old male individual was arrested and charged as follow.

The investigation remains ongoing.
