On Saturday, February 22, 2025, it was reported to officers that at approximately 0334 hours, a 22-year-old male was at 560 Balcom Avenue, when he sustained a gunshot wound to the abdomen, within the confines of the 45th Precinct in the Bronx.
The aided was transported to St. Barnabas Hospital by private means in stable condition.
The following 21-year-old male and 27-year-old female individuals were arrested and charged on Thursday, February 27, 2025, at 115 hours, within in the confines of the 45th Precinct.

On Friday, March 7, 2025, the victim succumbed to his injuries and the incident has been deemed a homicide by the Office of Chief Medical Examiner.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as indicated.
