Jordan Burnette, 29, Arrested On Multiple Charges

Pursuant to the ongoing investigation, the New York City Police Department arrested the following 29-year-old male individual, depicted in the attached surveillance video clip, who was wanted for questioning in regard to multiple acts of criminal mischief, that occurred within the confines of the 50th Precinct in the Bronx.

Charges:

  • burglary;
  • trespass;
  • petty larceny;
  • criminal mischief;
  • burglary (hate crime);
  • criminal mischief (hate crime);
  • criminal trespass (hate crime);
  • aggravated harassment (hate crime);
  • criminal possession of stolen property;
  • driving the wrong direction on a one-way street.

Details are as follows.

Incident #1: In front of 4502 Hudson Parkway an unidentified individual did intentionally throw rocks at multiple windows of a synagogue, causing them to break. The unidentified individual then fled the location. The total value of the damage was estimated to be over $250 dollars at the time of the report.

Incident #2: In front of 475 W. 250th Street an unidentified individual did intentionally throw rocks at multiple windows of a synagogue, causing them to break. The unidentified individual then fled the location. The total value of the damage was estimated to be over $250 dollars at the time of the report.

Incident #3: In front of 535 W. 246th Street an unidentified individual did intentionally break multiple windows of a synagogue. The unidentified individual then fled the location. The total value of the damage was estimated to be over $250 dollars at the time of the report.

Incident #4: In front of 3700 Independence Avenue an unidentified individual did intentionally throw rocks at multiple windows of a synagogue, causing them to break. The unidentified individual then fled the location. The total value of the damage was estimated to be over $250 dollars at the time of the report.

Incident #5: In front of 541 W. 239th Street an unidentified individual did intentionally break the window of an unoccupied parked vehicle. The unidentified individual then fled the location. The total value of the damage was unknown at the time of the report.

Incident #6: In front of 541 W. 239th Street an unidentified individual did intentionally break the window of an unoccupied parked vehicle. The unidentified individual then fled the location. The total value of the damage was unknown at the time of the report.

The investigation remains ongoing.

All charges are merely accusations and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
