The New York City Police Department (NYPD) is seeking the public’s assistance in locating the following person, who has been reported missing from, and resides within the confines of the 49th Precinct in the Bronx.

It was reported to police that Janae Sheriff was last seen leaving her residence on Wednesday, February 19, 2025, at approximately 5:00 p.m.
The missing is described as a 15-year-old female, Black, approximately 5’7” tall, weighing 200 lbs.
She was last seen wearing an orange jacket, black t-shirt, gray sweatpants, and black-and-white sneakers.
