On Monday, July 20, 2020, at approximately 2344 hours, police responded to a 911 call of a male shot in front of 3340 Decatur Avenue, within the confines of the 52nd Precinct in the Bronx.
Upon arrival, officers observed a 24-year-old male, unconscious and unresponsive, with a gunshot wound to the back.
EMS responded to the location and transported the victim to Montefiore Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as indicated.

There have been no arrests made and the investigation remains ongoing.
