On Monday, September 1, 2025, at approximately 1934 hours, police responded to a 911 call of multiple people, shot in front of 686 Allerton Avenue, within the confines of the 49th Precinct in the Bronx.

A preliminary investigation determined that five (5) adult males were shot at the location.

All five (5) males were transported by EMS to NYC Health + Hospitals / Jacobi.

A 27-year-old male, who sustained a gunshot wound to the left foot; a 25-year-old male, who sustained a gunshot wound to the arm; a 21-year-old male, who sustained a gunshot wound to the arm; and a 27-year-old male, who was grazed in the leg.

All four (4) are in stable condition.

A 25-year-old male, who sustained multiple gunshot wounds throughout the body, was pronounced deceased at NYC Health + Hospitals / Jacobi.

Multiple persons of interest were taken into custody in the vicinity of the occurrence location.

One of the persons of interest, a 24-year-old male, sustained injuries from a vehicle collision in the vicinity of Arnow Avenue and Hone Avenue and was transported by EMS to NYC Health + Hospitals / Jacobi in critical condition.

Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as indicated.

There have been no arrests made and the investigation remains ongoing.
