On Thursday, August 11, 2022, at approximately 0106 hours, police had a pick-up assignment of a male, shot at 237 E. 194th Street and Briggs Avenue, within the confines of the 52nd Precinct in the Bronx.
When police arrived, the officers observed an unidentified male teenager with a gunshot wound to his chest.
EMS also responded and transported the male to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
A preliminary investigation determined that the male was shot inside the lobby of 237 E. 194th Street.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as indicated.

There have been no arrests made and the investigation remains ongoing.
