The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individual depicted in the attached photograph.
Details are as follows.
It was reported to police that on Sunday, March 01, 2020, at approximately 0830 hours, in the vicinity of Newbold Avenue and Castle Hill Avenue withun the confines of the 43rd Precinct in Bronx, the individual approached a passerby and asked for help.
The woman did not know her home address nor could she give contact information for relatives.
She said her name was “Delia”.
The individual possibly suffers from dementia and only speaks Spanish. She was removed to an area hospital for an evaluation.
The individual is described as a female, Hispanic, 5’0″, 100 lbs., approximately 80 to 90 years old.
She wore a blue winter cap, an orange hooded sweater, black pants and she walked with a cane.
