On Thursday, December 5, 2024, at approximately 1534 hours, New York City Police Department (NYPD) police officers responded to a 911 call for an assault at 688 E. 223 Street, within the confines of the 47th Precinct in the Bronx.
Upon arrival, officers observed a 36-year-old male with gunshot wound to the head.
EMS responded and transported the male aided to NYC Health + Hospitals / Jacobi, where he succumbed to his injuries.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as indicated.

Pursuant to an ongoing investigation, the New York City Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying the whereabouts of the individual, depicted in the attached media for questioning in connection with the homicide detailed above.
The individual sought is described as an adult male with a dark skin complexion and a heavy build.
He was last seen wearing a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt, black pants, and black “Crocs”.
