The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individuals, depicted in the attached surveillance photographs and video clips, who are sought in connection to an attempted gunpoint robbery, that occurred within the confines of the 433rd Precinct in the Bronx.

Details are as follows.

It was reported to police that on Tuesday, January 12, 2021, at approximately 0008 hours, a 42-year-old male livery cab driver did pick up two individuals in front of 595 Calhoun Avenue and drove the fare to 1480 Rosedale Avenue.

Once at this location, one of the individuals displayed a firearm, pointed it at the victim, struck the victim in the head with the firearm, and demanded money and property. The other individual placed his hands around the victim’s neck.

The victim fought off the individuals and grabbed the firearm, rendering it inoperable.

The victim refused medical attention at the scene.

The unidentified individuals were unable to remove any property and fled westbound on Tremont Avenue.
