Help Identify An Attempted Assault Quartet

The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in ascertaining the whereabouts of three unidentified males and one unidentified female, seen in the attached surveillance video clip, who are sought in connection with an attempted assault (shots fired), which occurred within the confines of the 48th Precinct in the Bronx.

Details are as follows.

It was reported to police that on Sunday, December 12, 2021 at 0330 hours, three unidentified males and one unidentified female exited a gray sedan in front of 2000 Prospect Avenue.

The unidentified female remained with the gray sedan. The three unidentified males walked to 770 E. 178th Street, where each of them produced a handgun and began shooting at a passing black sedan.

The unidentified males fled on foot to the gray sedan, entered that vehicle fled the scene.

There were no injuries or property damage reported in connection with this incident.
