The New York City Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the following individual wanted for questioning in connection to an assault within the confines of the 42 Precinct in Bronx.

The following has been reported to police.

On Monday, January 13, 2020, at approximately 1750 hours, in front of 445 E. 163rd Street (Supermarket), a 48-year-old male victim got into a verbal dispute with an unknown male individual which escalated into a physical altercation.

The male individual removed a baseball bat from his vehicle and proceeded to swing the bat at the victim which struck his hand causing pain and bruising. The individual then fled in a silver vehicle to parts unknown.

EMS responded but the victim refused medal attention at the scene.

The individual wanted for questioning in this incident is described as a male, Hispanic, 35-35 years of age, he was last seen wearing glasses, a blue shirt and dark pants.

Pursuant to an ongoing investigation the following 24 year-old male suspect has been arrested in regard to this incident.

Bronx, NY 10457

Charges:

  • attempted assault 2 (2 counts);
  • criminal possession of a weapon 4.

The investigation remains ongoing.
