The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the female depicted in the attached surveillance photos wanted for questioning in connection to an assault that occurred within the confines of the 40th Precinct in Bronx.

Details are as follows.

It was reported to police that on Tuesday, July 9, 2019, at approximately 1245 hours, in front of 385 East 149th Street, a 71-year-old male victim was involved with an unidentified female on a Bx 2 bus. Once at the location, the female proceeded to push the victim off the bus causing him to fall, resulting in injured elbow. The victim refused medical attention and the female fled in unknown direction.

Surveillance photographs of the suspect are attached and available at DCPI.

Anyone with information related to this incident is asked to call the NYPD‘s Crime Stoppers hotline at 1800577TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 188857PISTA (74782). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers‘ website or by texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then enter TIP577.
