The NYPD is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the following individual wanted in connection to an assault which took place within the confines of the 50 Precinct in Bronx.
The following has been reported to police.
On Tuesday, June 18, 2019, at approximately 0112 hours, the 35-year-old male victim engaged in a verbal dispute with an unidentified male in front of 5588 Broadway. During the dispute, the unidentified male proceeded to use a knife to stab the victim multiple times in his back. In the process of stabbing the victim, the unidentified male partially severed a finger from his left hand. He then fled southbound on Broadway. EMS responded to the location and transported the victim to St. Barnabas Hospital in stable condition. The victim sustained multiple lacerations to the back and left arm.
The individual being sought is described as follows:
- male, Hispanic, mid to late 20’s, with a beard, a large tattoo on the bottom of his right forearm, and a tattoo on his upper right arm. He was last seen wearing a red baseball hat, white t-shirt, dark colored shorts, and a white t-shirt. He has a missing portion of a finger on his left hand (possibly index).
