The New York City Police Department (NYPD) is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the following male suspect, who is wanted for questioning in connection to an assault, which occurred within the confines of the 45th Precinct in the Bronx.
Details are as follws.
On Thursday, June 6, 2019 at approximately 1420 hours, a 28-year-old female victim was in front 2597 Lafayette Avenue, when an unidentified male asked her for directions. The victim pointed in the direction of the location, at which point the suspect slashed the left side of her face with a cutting instrument. The suspect fled in unknown direction.
EMS responded and transported the victim to an area hospital, where she received multiple stitches.
The person wanted for questioning is described as a male, Black, 30-40 years old, approximately 6’0″ tall, weighing 250 lbs.
He was last seen wearing a button up short sleeve shirt with a white-and-blue checkered pattern, black shorts, white knee high socks, and a baseball cap.
