The New York City Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the individual, depicted in the attached surveillance photographs, who is wanted in connection to an assault, which occurred within the New York City Transit system.
The following has been reported to police.
The individual engaged in a verbal dispute with the female victim, While, while on board a D train. The dispute escalated, at which point the individual punched the victim in her face and told her to mind her own business, referring to her and others on the train as “racist”. Reportedly, the suspect was traveling along with his minor children.
It is unknown whether the victim sustained any injuries as a result of the attack.
It is unknown when the incident happened and what subway station the train was in the vicinity of.
The suspect is described as an adult male, Black, with a mustache and short hair.
He was last seen wearing a black, blue and white t-shirt, and wearing a yellow wrist band on his right hand.
