The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individual depicted in the attached surveillance photograph and video clip, who is wanted in connection to a robbery, that occurred within the confines of the 40th Precinct in Bronx.

Details are as follows.

It was reported to police that on Friday, December 31, 2021, at approximately 0400 hours, a 36-year-old male victim was walking into his residential building, located in the vicinity of E. 146th Street and Brook Avenue, when an unidentified male individual approached the victim and demanded money, while pointing a firearm at him.

The male individual then removed approximately $7,500 from the victim’s pocket and fled on foot.

The victim then followed the male individual and was subsequently shot in the abdomen.

The victim was removed to Lincoln Hospital in stable condition.

The suspect is described as an adult male, Black, with a medium build.

He was last seen wearing a red and black hoodie jacket, blue hoodie sweater, black pants and black sneakers.
