The New York City Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the individual, depicted in the attached surveillance video clip and photographs, who is wanted in connection to an assault (non-fatal shooting), which took place within the confines of the 42nd Precinct in the Bronx.
Details are as follows.
On Monday, May 17, 2021, at approximately 1645 hours, an 80-year-old male victim was walking with his family at the intersection of E. 174th Street and Vyse Avenue, when an unidentified male discharged a firearm, striking the 80-year-old male victim in the buttocks.
The unidentified individual fled the location on foot.
The victim was removed by EMS to an area hospital in stable condition.
