The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in ascertaining the whereabouts of the unidentified female, seen in the attached surveillance photographs and video clip, who is sought in connection with an assault in transit, which occurred within the confines of the 42nd Precinct / Transit District 12 in the Bronx.
Details are as follows.
It was reported to police that on Tuesday, February 09, 2021, at approximately 0750 hours, on the platform of the 174th Street Station, 2 & 5 ines, an unidentified female pushed the victim, a 54-year-old female, onto the track roadbed.
The victim suffered cuts and bruising to her hands and pain to her body.
She extricated herself from the track roadbed with the assistance of a male Good Samaritan and was transported by EMS to St. Barnabas Hospital in stable condition.
The unidentified female fled on foot, exiting the subway system and continuing northbound on Southern Boulevard.
