The New York City Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance identifying the following two individuals, wanted for questioning in connection to an assault on NYPD detectives within the confines of the 13th Precinct in Manhattan.
Details are as follows.
On Monday, June 01, 2020 at approximately 2015 hours, in front of 607 Avenue of the Americas, two plain-clothed detectives were surrounded by several individuals who were removing items from different establishments.
The detectives were physically attacked and pushed to the ground, at which time two unidentified males threw a hard object and sprayed the detectives with an unknown substance, before fleeing in unknown direction.
The detectives were transported to Lenox Health Hospital and treated for lacerations to their knees and irritation to their eyes.
