On Sunday, December 03, 2023, at approximately 0510 hours, police responded to a 911 call for an assault with a knife at 467 Beach 22nd Street, within the confines of the 101st Precinct in Queens.
Upon arrival, officers engaged the alleged 38-year-old male perpetrator in conversation, before he stabbed one police officer in the neck and chest and proceeded to stab a second police officer in the head.
One of the officers was able to discharge his weapon at the suspect, stopping the assault.
Responding officers then observed an 11-year-old female and a 61-year-old female with multiple stab wounds.
Officers were unable to enter the residence at the location due to an active fire.
Once the fire was extinguished, three (3) additional victims were located inside of the residence with stab wounds.
The victims a 44-year-old female, 12-year-old male and a male approximately in his 30’s were pronounced deceased on scene.
There are a total of four (4) deceased victims, one (1) deceased perpetrator, one (1) individual in critical condition, and two (2) police officers in critical but stable condition.
The two (2) police officers were transported to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center.
EMS transported the 38-year-old preparator to a local area hospital, where he pronounced deceased.
EMS transported the 11-year-old female to Long Island Medical Center – Cohen, where she pronounced deceased.
EMS transported the 61-year-old female to New York – Presbyterian Queens Hosital in critical condition.

The investigation remains ongoing.
