Edward Garcia, 47, Arrested For The Murder Of Jordan Conde, 14 & Roberto Archeval Cortez, 41

On Monday, March 05, 2018, at 0132 hours, police responded to a 911 call of a fire inside of 2381 Hoffman Street, within the confines of the 48th Precinct in the Bronx.

FDNY personnel removed eleven (11) aided individuals from inside of the location, a 5-story residential apartment building.

EMS also responded and transported three (3) aided individuals to St. Barnabas Hospital, where two (2) unidentified males were pronounced deceased and one (1) female was listed in critical condition.

EMS transported eight (8) aided individuals to Jacobi Hospital, where one (1) female was listed in critical condition and seven (7), including FDNY personnel, were listed in stable condition.

The fire has been extinguished by FDNY personnel and the cause of the fire is to be determined by NYC Fire Marshall.

The above-listed incident has been deemed a double homicide.

Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as indicated.

Pursuant to an ongoing investigation, the following 47-year-old male individual has been arrested and charged on Friday, May 07, 2021, at 1110 hours, within the confines of the 48th Precinct.
