Two men have been arrested in connection with a fight outside a Bronx lounge, that left one man dead and five people injured.
Police said Monday that 19-year-old Zaire Bansey and 18-year-old Peter Hajdari, both of the Bronx, were arrested on murder, manslaughter and criminal possession of a weapon charges. It was not clear if they had lawyers.
The assaults happened on Sunday, October 05, 2014, outside a lounge on Valentine Avenue in the Bronx.
A 24-year-old man died after being shot in the torso. A 21-year-old man was critically injured with a gunshot wound to the head and another 21-year-old had been shot in the leg. Two other young men were slashed and another man had been hit in the head with a baseball bat.
The investigation remains ongoing.
All charges are merely accusations and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
