The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance identifying the individuals, depicted in the attached surveillance video clip and photograph, who are wanted for questioning in connection to an assault (non-fatal shooting), that occurred within the confines of the 42nd Precinct (PSA #7) in the Bronx.
The following was reported to police.
On Wednesday, August 19, 2020, at approximately 1947 hours, an unidentified individual did fire several gunshots towards another individual while in front of 765 E. 163 Street (Forest Houses).
A 61-year-old female victim was then struck in the right upper leg during the incident, inadvertently struck.
The individual then fled on foot to parts unknown.
The victim was removed to NYC Health + Hospitals / Lincoln, in stable condition.
There were no other injuries reported as a result of this incident.
The individual is described as an adult dark-skinned male.
