The New York City Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the following individual, wanted for questioning in connection to an assault, which took place within the confines of the 40th Precinct / Transit District 11 in the Bronx.

The following has been reported to police.

On Saturday, July 04, 2020,at approximately 2345 hours, at the 149 Street Station subway stop (#4 line), a 53-year-old female victim was walking in the station when an unknown male individual began to strike the victim with a cane in an unprovoked attack.

The male individual then exited the station and fled on foot to parts unknown.

The victim suffered pain and bruising to the head and torso.

EMS responded and transported the victim to NYC Health + Hospitals / Lincoln, in stable condition.

The individual wanted for questioning in this incident is described as a male, Black, with dark complexion, approximately 30-40 years of age; last seen wearing all dark clothing.
