The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance identifying the male depicted in the attached surveillance video clip and photographs, who is wanted for questioning in connection to an assault and a public lewdness act, which both occurred within the confines of the 32nd Precinct / Transit District 3 in Manhattan.
The following was reported to police.
On Monday, July 12, 2020, at approximately 1410 hours, at the 135th Street / Lenox Avenue subway station, 40-year-old female victim was riding a northbound 3 train when an unidentified male exposed his private parts while on board the train.
Both the parties exited at the station when the female informed her 37-year-old male acquaintance of the incident, at which time he confronted the individual. A physical altercation ensued and the individual produced a knife, stabbing the male victim in the head twice and slashing his left arm before fleeing the station in unknown direction.
The victim walked into NYC Health + Hospitals / Harlem to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.
