The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in ascertaining the whereabouts of the three unidentified males who are seen in the attached photos, and who are being sought in connection with a robbery within the confines of the 45 Precinct in Bronx / Transit District 12.
Details are as follows.
It was reported to police that on Thursday, June 27, 2019 at approximately 1235 hours, a 15-year-old male was standing on the platform within the mezzanine area of the Pelham Bay Park subway station, looking at his phone, when an unidentified male approached him and snatched the phone, an iPhone X, from his hand. When the victim attempted to retrieve his phone, the male punched him about the face and head, before fleeing into the elevator, whose doors were being held open by the male individual’s two accomplices. Once inside the elevator, the male handed off the cellphone to one of the other individuals, before fleeing the location, on the street, in an unknown direction.
The victim was not seriously injured and refused medical attention at the scene.
The individuals are described as a three teenage males, two Black males, and one Hispanic male; two of the males were wearing black backpacks.
