The New York City Police Department is asking the public’s assistance identifying the individual depicted in the attached surveillance video in connection to an assault (non-fatal stabbing) that occurred within the confines of the 43rd Precinct in Bronx.
Details are as follows.
It was reported to police that on Thursday, August 8, 2019 at 1959 hours, in front of 1746 Lafayette Avenue, the unidentified individual approached a 34-year-old male victim, knocked him to the ground and stabbed him multiple times in the torso before the victim was able to flee on foot.
EMS responded to the scene and transported the victim Jacobi Hospital, where he is listed in stable condition.
The individual is described as an adult male, Black, approximately 6’2″, 280 lbs. with a beard. He was last seen wearing a black shirt with black Adidas pants with black sneakers.
