The New York City Police Department is asking the public’s assistance in determining the whereabouts of the following 35-year-old Hispanic male in connection to an assault that occurred within the confines of the 45 Precinct in Bronx.
Details are as follows.
It was reported to police that on Sunday, July 28, 2019 at approximately 2149 hours, in front of 2708 East Tremont Avenue, an unidentified individual approached a 34-year-old male victim from behind and shot him in the back of the head, before fleeing the location on foot, northbound on East Tremont Avenue.
EMS responded to the scene and transported the victim Jacobi Hospital, where he is listed in critical condition.
The deceased succumbed to his injuries on Wednesday, July 31, 2019. The incident has been deemed a homicide. There are no arrests and the investigation remains ongoing.
