The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individual depicted in the attached video and photograph in connection to a robbery that occurred within the confines of the 40 Precinct in Bronx.
Details are as follows.
It was reported to police that on Sunday April 14, 2019, at approximately 1518 hours, inside of 827 Westchester Avenue (Metro PCS), the individual initially posed as a customer as he spoke with the 40-year-old female employee before he walked behind the counter, displayed a hypodermic needle and demanded money. The individual took an envelope with money inside it and then removed cash from the register. He fled on foot eastbound on Westchester Avenue with approximately $1,200 in cash.
The individual is described as a male, Hispanic, 35 to 45 years old, 5’9″ tall, with a ponytail; last seen wearing a gray hooded sweater with black stripes on the side of its arms, blue jeans and black sneakers.
