The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individual, depicted in the attached surveillance photographs and video clip, who is wanted in connection to a robbery, that occurred within the confines of the 48th Precinct in the Bronx.

Details are as follows.

It was reported to police that on Sunday December 05, 2021, at approximately 2300 hours, in front of 647 E. Tremont Avenue, the individual approached the two victims (a 56-year-old male and a 40-year-old female), brandished a knife and tried to take their electric bicycle.

The victims struggled with the individual for possession of the bicycle.

During the altercation, the male victim dropped his cell phone on the pavement. The individual picked it up and fled the scene on foot.

The victims were not injured during the incident.

The individual is described as an adult male, Black, who wore a black hooded sweater, a gray jacket, black pants and black sneakers.
