The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individual, depicted in the attached surveillance photograph, who is wanted in connection to a robbery, that occurred within the confines of the 46th Precinct / Transit District 11 in the Bronx.
Details are as follows.
It was reported to police that on Friday, November 12, 2021, at approximately 1450 hours, inside of the Jerome Avenue and East Burnside Avenue station, the 13-year-old male victim was standing inside of the mezzanine to the 4 train, when an unknown individual approached, displayed a knife and demanded the victim’s chain. The individual then forcibly removed the chain from around the victim’s neck and fled the station.
The victim was not injured.
The chain, which had a cross pendant attached, is valued at $500.
The individual is described as an adult male, Black, approximately in his 20s, 5’07” tall, weighing 160 lbs., with a medium build and close cut, black hair.
He was last seen wearing a dark hood sweatshirt with “Polo”, written on the front, gray sweat pants and white sneakers.
