The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying following individual, depicted in the attached surveillance video clipl, who is wanted in connection to a robbery, that occurred within the confines of the 50 Precinct in the Bronx.
The following was reported to the police.
On Thursday, January 14, 2021, at approximately 0100 hours, an unknown male individual walked inside of 6571 Broadway, a Citgo gas station, simulated a black firearm, demanded cash from a 31-year-old female victim and then proceeded to remove the drawer of a cash register, located behind the counter, containing approximately $1,000.
The individual fled the location on foot, westbound on 261st Street.
There were no injuries as a result of this incident.
The individual is described as an adult male, Black, approximately 30 years of age and 5′11″ tall.
He was last seen wearing a black jacket with a fur hood, blue jeans and black and yellow sneakers.
