The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in ascertaining the whereabouts of the unidentified individual, who is seen in the attached surveillance photograph and video clip, who is sought in connection with a robbery / carjacking, which occurred within the confines of the 42nd Precinct in the Bronx.

Details are as follows.

It was reported to police that on Saturday, December 19, 2020, at approximately 0625 hours, a 27-year-old male victim was sitting inside of his vehicle, parked in front of 3214 3rd Avenue, when an unidentified individual did approach the vehicle and demanded the victim get out of the car, while displaying a firearm.

The victim complied and the unidentified individual fled northbound in the vehicle on 3rd Avenue to parts unknown.

There were no injuries reported as a result of this incident.

A surveillance video clip and a photograph of the suspect are attached and available at DCPI.
