The New York City Police Department is asking the public’s assistance identifying the male individual, depicted in the attached surveillance photograph and video clip, who is wanted in connection to a strong arm robbery, that occurred within the confines of the 44th Precinct in the Bronx.

Details are as follows.

It was reported to police on Tuesday, November 24, 2020, inside of 949 Ogden Avenue (deli), at approximately 2045 hours, a 29-year-old female customer was waiting at the counter to pay when she was approached by a male individual, who grabbed the money she was holding in her hands and attempted to flee.

The male individual was able to forcibly remove the cash she was holding and fled on foot to parts unknown.

The victim was not reported injured.

The total amount of currency removed was $25.

The individual being sought is described as being a male, approximately 20-30 years in age.

A surveillance video clip and a photograph of the suspect are attached and available at DCPI.
