On Monday, March 25, 2024, at approximately 0339 hours, New York City Police Department (NYPD) officers responded to a 911 call of an aided person at 720 Westchester Avenue within the confines of the 40th Precinct / PSA 7 in the Bronx.
Upon arrival, officers discovered a 46-year-old female, unconscious and unresponsive, with trauma to the face and head.
EMS responded and pronounced the female deceased on the scene.
There is one person of interest in custody, and charges are pending.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as indicated.
