The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individual depicted in the attached photographs in connection to a robbery within the confines of the 44th Precinct in the Bronx.

The details are as follows.

It was reported to police that on Sunday, March 08, 2020, at approximately 1933 hours, at 1081 Ogden Avenue (Family Dollar) the individual placed an unknown number of items inside a plastic bag and tried to leave the store without paying for them. When the 55-year-old male security officer tried to prevent her from leaving, the individual resisted and tried to stab him with a screwdriver.

The individual fled the scene on foot southbound on Ogden Avenue.

The individual is described as a black female, in her 40s; last seen wearing a dark colored wrap on her head, a black coat with a fur-lined hood, blue jeans, beige boots and she had on a black backpack.

Surveillance photographs of the suspect are attached and available at DCPI.
