The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance identifying the female depicted in the attached photo and wanted for questioning for an attempted robbery that occurred within the confines of the 41st Precinct in Bronx.

The following was reported to the police.

On Wednesday, December 04, 2019, at approximately 1818 hours, inside 899 Westchester Avenue, a 89-year-old male was followed in the elevator to his floor by an unidentified female. Once he reached his floor, the female attempted to go into his rear pocket and remove his wallet, at which time a brief struggle ensued. The victim subsequently fell to the floor and the female fled the location in unknown direction without any property.

The victim sustained a minor hand injury and refused medical attention.
