The New York City Police Department is asking the public’s assistance identifying the male depicted in the attached surveillance photos wanted for questioning in connection to a robbery that occurred within the confines of the 40th Precinct in Bronx / Transit District 11.
Details are as follows.
It was reported to police that on Saturday, October 26, 2019 at 0050 hours, a 37-year-old female victim was transferring from the “4” train at 149th/Grand Concourse subway station, walked towards the lower level to the “2” platform, when an unidentified male grabbed her hand bag. The victim resisted and the male punched her numerous times in the head. The victim retained her property and the male fled out of the station empty handed.
The victim sustained bruising and pain to the head, but refused medical attention at the scene.
