The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in ascertaining the whereabouts of the unidentified male and unidentified female, who are seen in the attached surveillance video clip, who are sought in connection with a robbery and an assault, which took place within the confines of the 43rd Precinct in the Bronx.
Details are as follows.
It was reported to police that on Saturday, April 03, 2021, at 2220 hours, inside of a Popeye’s, located at 1500 Bruckner Boulevard, the victim, a 24-year-old male, became involved in a verbal dispute with an unidentified female. The dispute escalated when an unidentified male punched the victim in his head. The unidentified male and unidentified female punched the victim multiple times, struck him with a “Wet Floor” sign, removed $150 from him and then exited the location.
The unidentified female returned, sans coat and wig, to collect her food order.
The unidentified male and unidentified female then fled in a black 4-door sedan.
The victim, who suffered a laceration above his right eye and pain and swelling to his head, was transported by EMS in stable condition to St. Barnabas Hospital.
