Help Identify A Reckless Endangerment Suspect

The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individual, depicted in the attached surveillance video clip, who is wanted for questioning in connection to a reckless endangerment incident, that occurred within the confines of the 40th Precinct / PSA 7 in the Bronx.

The following was reported to the police.

On Saturday, January 29, 2022, at approximately 0430 hours, on the roof of 304 E. 156th Street (Melrose Houses), an unknown male individual walked up to the roof the building and fired several rounds from a firearm into the air and fled the location in an unknown direction.

No injuries were reported as a result of this incident.

The individual is described as an adult male, 20-30 years of age.

A surveillance video clip of the suspect is attached and available at DCPI.

Anyone with information related to this incident is asked to call the NYPD‘s Crime Stoppers hotline at 1800577TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 188857PISTA (74782). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers‘ website or by texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then enter TIP577.
