The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individual, depicted in the attached surveillance photograph, who is wanted in connection to a reckless endangerment incident, that occurred within the confines of the 40th Precinct in the Bronx.

Details are as follows.

It was reported to police that on Friday, January 08, 2021, at approximately 1512 hours, in front of 724 E. 161st Street (Associated Supermarket), an unidentified individual fired several shots and then fled the scene on foot to parts unknown.

There were no injuries reported as a result of the shooting.

The unidentified individual is described as a dark-skinned male, approximately 5’9″ tall, weighing 130 lbs.; with a thin build and black short curly hair.

He was last seen wearing a black jacket, red hoodie sweater, red sweat pants, white sneakers and a white face mask under his chin.
