The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in ascertaining the whereabouts of the two unidentified males, who are seen in the attached surveillance photographs and video clip, and are sought in connection with a reckless endangerment (shots fired) incident within the confines of the 48th Precinct in the Bronx.
Details are as follows.
It was reported to police that on Monday, May 18, 2020, at 2210 hours, at the intersection of Bathgate Avenue and E. 176 Street, Unidentified Male #1 handed Unidentified Male #2 a handgun. Unidentified Male #2 then discharged the handgun, resulting in a ShotSpotter activation.
The unidentified males fled on foot to E. 176 Street and 3rd Avenue, where they entered a vehicle and continued to flee.
Responding officers recovered two shell casings.
There were no injuries reported in connection with this incident.
