On Friday, June 19, 2020, Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz, Jr. joined New York State Assembly Speaker Carl Heastie, Bronx District Attorney Darcel Clark, New York State Senator Jamaal Bailey, New York Councilmember Andy King and Bronx residents for a Juneteenth Rally.

The rally, which originated from Community Board 12 headquarters and headed down to East Gun Hill Road and White Plains Road, was a celebration full of music and aimed at bringing awareness to all the social economic issues impacting our community.
