The New York City Police Department is asking the public for assistance in ascertaining the whereabouts and identity of the individuals, depicted in the attached surveillance photographs, who are wanted for questioning in connection to a robbery, that occurred in front of 1920 Osbourne Place, which resulted in the death of Johnny Gaston, 32, who was discovered in front of 189 Burnside Avenue.
Details are as follows.
On December 15, 2022, at 2202 hours, police responded to a 911 call of a male, shot in front of 189 Burnside Avenue, within the confines of the 46th Precinct in the Bronx.
Upon arrival, police discovered two (2) individuals shot.
Victim #1, a 32-year-old male, was shot in the head and removed to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
Victim #2, a 27-year-old male, was shot in the groin and removed to St. Barnabas Hospital in stable condition.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as indicated.
