The New York City Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the following two individuals, who are wanted for questioning in connection to an assault with a firearm, which took place within the confines of the 44th Precinct in the Bronx.

The following has been reported to police.

On Sunday, October 18, 2020, at approximately 1651, inside of 1328 Jerome Avenue (bodega), a 26-year-old male got into a verbal dispute with two unknown individuals, a male and female, which escalated into a physical confrontation.

The male individual then brandished a firearm, chased the victim to the rear of the store and shot the 26-year old male in the chest. The male and female individuals then fled the location on foot in an unknown direction.

EMS responded and transported the victim to St. Barnabas hospital in serious but stable condition.

The individuals wanted in connection to this incident are described as follows:

  • Individual #1 is described as a male, approximately 30-40 years in age;
  • Individual #2 is described as a female, approximately 20-30 years in age.
