The New York City Police Department is asking the public’s assistance identifying the individual depicted in the attached photo and video in connection to a grand larceny that occurred within the confines of the 43rd Precinct in Bronx.
Details are as follows.
It was reported to police that on Wednesday, January 22, 2020, at 1545 hours, in the vicinity of E. 172nd Street and Stratford Avenue, an 11-year-old male victim was walking on the street when an unidentified individual approached from behind and removed the victim’s cell phone from his pocket.
The individual then fled on foot northbound towards E. 172nd Street.
The phone had an estimated value of $350.
