The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance identifying the female individual depicted in the attached photographs who is wanted for questioning in connection to a grand larceny that occurred within the confines of the 40th Precinct in Bronx.

Details are as follows.

It was reported to the police that on Friday, January 24, 2020, at approximately 1010 hours, inside of 217 Saint Ann’s Avenue (deli), an 84-year-old female victim was waiting to make a purchase with money in her hand when an unknown female individual approached the victim and snatched the $20 bill she was holding. The female individual then fled on foot, westbound on E. 138th Street.

The victim was not reported injured.

The individual is described as a female, Hispanic, 20-30 years of age.

She was last seen wearing all dark clothing.
