The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individual depicted in the attached photographs in connection to a grand larceny that occurred within the confines of the 50 Precinct in Bronx.

Details are as follows.

It was reported to police that on Friday, August 30, 2019, at approximately 1650 hours, inside of 5675 Broadway (Dollar Tree), the individual snatched the 68-year-old female victim’s wallet from her hand as she went to put it away. The individual ran out of the store and fled on foot westbound on W. 234 Street and southbound on Kingsbridge Avenue. The individual was last seen walking out of the rear of 3246 Kingsbridge Avenue.

The individual is described as a male, Black; last seen wearing a light colored shirt, blue jeans, white slide sandals and he had on a gray backpack.

The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers‘ website or by texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then enter TIP577.
